Peter L. Johnston, Esquire represents a Philadelphia woman who fell down stairs leading to the entrance of a charter school in the City on her way to vote in the 2012 election. An unspecified slippery substance was on the stairs as she descended them which caused her to slip and fall down the rest of the stairs. She suffered injuries to her arms and legs. Fortunately, none of the injuries were catastrophic in nature but, nonetheless, they caused her significant pain and a limitation of her lifestyle for a time. In addition, she accumulated medical bills because of her treatment.
