Peter L. Johnston, Esquire represented Philadelphia man who was accused of selling drugs in Philadelphia and who had a substance abuse problem which led to him being in the situation in which he was arrested. The District Attorney’s Office initially pushed for a state prison sentence of at least one and a half years. However, Johnston was able to convince the office that a more reasonable sentence would be a shorter county sentence with parole to an inpatient drug program which his client agreed to accept. Now, instead of incarceration, client is getting the help that he needs.
